ENDS MEET TAUT, LONG
Sequence of stressors, I long, I grasp
for pause, pause possible, hope or double
of hope, response, I pin, I pray
please, press skip, easy buttons
I perform. I press
the buttons in sequence, in response, promise
of repose, posits, I peak, I peek
when I feel the light I obviously try to grab the light.
I have a string in me and forget about it often.
I wrap my hands around my longing.
